The most beloved “bad” movie of all time. My friend Conrad Brooks, who has a role in this as a young patrolman (“It’s tough to find something when you don’t know what it is you’re looking for”), called me after he had just seen the colorized version of PLAN 9 on the big screen. He was raving about what a great job they did in colorizing the movie. I must say that I agree.
Extras include Mike Nelson’s full-length commentary, his presentation on what Plans 1 – 8 were (and how they failed), some home movies of Ed in drag at what looks like a Christmastime gathering, commercials Ed had done and, oh yes, you MUST check out the “deleted scenes”.
WELL worth getting.
