I was ecstatic when this arrived on DVD. I’d never seen it on VHS and managed to miss it most times it may have been played on late night TV.
Filmed during the heyday of the “Blaxploitation” film movement, this concerns a bigoted Doctor dying of cancer. In order for him to continue living, his head needs to be transplanted. The only subject available in is a death row inmate, Jack Moss. The doctor’s head is grafted on and upon waking is horrified to learn that his white head is on a brother’s body.
Played for laughs more than anything else, this movie has a charm all its own. A nice addition to your collection if you like so-called “bad” films.
